Isn't LIfe Fun

We are just starting to feel settled in our ward.
Both of us are in mutual and loving it. Doug is a Teachers assistant and I am MiaMaids assistant, meaning we are in the same age group but Doug wont be able to teach any lessons for me :O) We've been up to some fun stuff like Youth Conference, Coaching Basketball, and we had the funniest Service Skits last night… Our kids really seem to like us, totally a surprise to me, ha ha ha. It really makes me laugh when I have 4 girls fighting over who gets to sit by me, or Doug got chosen to do the trust fall. Where someone is up on a ledge backwards and multiple people are below ready to catch the one falling. The boy got to choose 6 people he trusted and Doug was the only leader he chose. He was on the catching end and dropped the poor kid to the ground. I heard it was really funny for everyone almost everyone :O) In Doug's defense he did just smash his finger the day before with a 35 pound tool so his grip wasn't up to par. ***I think his whole finger nail is gonna fall off soon***

The rest of the folks in the ward have been super welcoming, with game nights, book clubs and pedicures with the girls. I can't complain at all, this is the best ward we have been in yet!

I love Springtime! It's so good to have it coming soon. We actually have fruit trees!!! Before they looked to be massive overgrown bushes. With a TON and I mean a TON of pruning they look pretty darn good. I could use all the help I can get so if anyone has tips on Apple, Apricot, Pear, Peach, or Cherry trees please pass them our way.

We are also thinking about starting a veggie garden in the next couple of weeks but it's a lot to start for our first year of gardening. Here is my predicament… I know that if I grew veggies and didn't eat them all, my sis Krystal would make a special trip just to can all the left over's. And I learned last year how huge of a job that is all by its self.

Hope things are Swell for ya'll. Isn't life is so fun!
