Raspberry Picking

About 2 weeks ago we headed out to my friends grandmothers home to pick Raspberries in her fabulous patch that's at least 27x25, and the raspberries ripen about every 2 days.
Doug, Myself and Shannon picked for about 3 hours in the warm shade, surrounded by birds chirping and lot's of fun chatter. It is one of the most beautiful gardens I have ever been in.
We got 3 little pails completely full,
even though I was stuffing my mouth every chance I got,
we ended up with 13 regular sized cereal bowls full. Now it’s time to make some tasty jelly. Thanks to Shannon and her Grandparents for inviting us over!!!
Smile for the camera... This is Shannon standing in front of her grandma's home.
Her Great Grandfather built it from the ground up and her grandma has lived there her whole life. Such a beautiful plot of landscape and the garden is amazing!
This is a picture of the actual raspberry patch.
Don't they just look so tasty hanging on the branch!?!

Doug had a great time listening to Shannon and Myself chat for the LONG 3 hours :O)

Check out that tub of berries

Check out how tall the bushes are and they are so dense.

This is the final product. We got 3 pails full just like this one. When we got home it ended up being 13 cereal bowls completely full. Now it's time to make freezer jam.
