Draper Parade

We had a blast 2 weekend ago with Krystal and Jake in town, so much to do and so little time to do it in. They were here for Jakes side of the family so we were sitt’n the kids for a couple hours on Thursday night. We went to Day Break Park for the evening and it was a blast! They have a great playground with a crazy jungle gym, lots of swings and an awesome slide. The kids made so many friends and didn’t want to go even though we had been there for hours.

Tanner and Ceterra (Doug’s nice and nephew) were both in the Draper parade bright and early Saturday morning.

Ceterra is with her Dance group

Tanner with Karate

Krystal called me when we were about 10 minutes from the house and said, everyone is still sleeping we will make it later if they wake up in time. Now that was crazy to both of us cause those kids are always up by 6 am and it was almost 8:45. The parade was great it started at 9 and was over by 11:30, due to the over whelming amount of entries we stopped counting after 93. I know you were going to loose sleep over this also so I’ll just let you know, we still got a ton of candy even though we didn’t have any kids sitting with us.

Then the race began… we were off from the parade to get home. It was time for a BBQ & slip-n-slide party. It was a ‘Splash’ of a time. Almost everyone took a ride on the slide and the food was great.

We all headed to Inception later that night. if you’re planning on going, put on your thinking cap cause it’s pretty ‘deep’. Probably one of the best movies we’ve seen since The Longest Yard.
